☐ Provide safe, indoor housing; puppy will not be left outside unattended, chained, or tied unsupervised. ☐ Schedule a veterinary wellness exam within 7 days. ☐ Continue core vaccinations and provide monthly preventatives (heartworm / flea). ☐ Enroll in positive-reinforcement puppy training and socialize before 16 weeks. ☐ Never use physical punishment, shock collars, or harsh methods. ☐ Keep puppy leashed and supervised in public; use a properly fitted harness / collar and ID tags at all times. ☐ Notify the rescue within 24 hours if the puppy is lost or if you can no longer care for it (mandatory return clause — we take them back, no questions asked). ☐ Understand that Staffordshire Bull Terriers are a powerful, muscular breed requiring active management, secure containment, and ongoing socialization. ☐ If this is a breed restricted in your municipality or housing complex, confirm legality and notify rescue before finalizing.
RETURN / SAFETY NET CLAUSE If at any time you cannot keep the puppy, you must contact us before surrendering to a shelter. We will assist in rehoming at no cost to you.
